Humanitarian Assistance

Humanitarian assistance is intended to save lives, alleviate suffering, and maintain human dignity during and after man-made crises and disasters caused by natural hazards, as well as to prevent and strengthen preparedness for when such situations occur.  Humanitarian assistance should be governed by the key humanitarian principles of humanity, impartiality, neutrality, and independence. These are the fundamental principles of the Freedom For All Nepal (FAN), which are reaffirmed in UN General Assembly resolutions and enshrined in numerous humanitarian standards and guidelines.

Freedom For All Nepal (FAN) is very sensible and proactive organization for humanitarian assistance. It will comprise rescue, relief, and rehabilitation from natural or man-made disasters. The organization will focus to disaster risk reduction climate change adaptation. Also, FAN will conduct effectively online blood donation activities continually. It will contribute the effective implementation of the government policies and mechanisms as well as it will create some mechanisms on humanitarian assistance. Thus, the organization will positively intervene and step up in humanitarian assistance activities.
