Dialogue Program on "Role of Stakeholders in protection of Human Rights"

A Dialogue program on the topic "Role of Stakeholders in the protection of Human Rights" was held during the week-long 13th Human rights Magnameet. It was successfully held with the overwhelming participation of representatives from different law enforcement agencies, different government authorities, and civil society. It helped in smoothening and promoting collaboration among the stakeholders.

2-days long Planning and Review Meeting and Workshop was conducted in Freedom For All Nepal's Central Office.

Meaningful participation and fruitful contribution in the further plans and projects of the organization by all provincial coordinators was held on 13th and 14th June, at the FAN Central office Naagpokhari, Kathmandu

74th International Human Rights Day

The preparatory meeting for the 74th International Human Rights Day and the 14th National Human Rights magna meet was held at Fan Nepal's office in Naxal with the participation of leading human rights activists of Nepal,10 November 2022.

13th Human Rights Magna Meet 2078

On the occasion of 73rd International Human Rights Day, the 13th Human Rights National Magna Meet was celebrated with a collaboration of the Civil Society organization and the National Human Rights Commission. This year Freedom For All Nepal (FAN) was the co-convener along with other human rights organizations.

Protection of human rights and Sustainable management of democracy requires a conscious civil society and an answerable state system. Human rights are a matter of interest and concern to all and these issues, and it should come out of the critical angle of the society and the status quo thinking, and it should be understood with extensive and wide perspective. Everyone should be able to live freely and fearlessly in society with self-respect, and every sectors of society will have an important role to play in building a civilized and dignified human society by developing human rights as a culture. Freedom for All Nepal envisions cooperating with all sections of the society for mobilizing every conscious citizen of the society and all the structures of the state to bring the marginalized citizens into the mainstream of human rights while respecting and protecting democracy and human rights.

Human rights! Citizen's concern !! Freedom for All Nepal is the working committee elected from the 12th general assembly of FAN. The present working committee has been formed with the participation of personalities active in the field of various social services. The present working committee will be determined to make the human race dignified and benevolent while being responsible for the objectives taken by FAN. The current chairman of FAN, Dr. Sundar Thapa, has been active in the field of human rights and social services for more than 30 years and is leading the current working committee of the organization. The new team led by Dr. Sundar Thapa will be creative. Creative by implementing the objectives of the organization and establish the values of human rights in society.

Dr. Sundar Thapa is the chairman of FAN. He has served the community for over three decades. He has a very big heart for Nepal and has been deliberately helping the community with love. He is very passionate about his work. He is also looking forward to serving the nation and its people with all his might.

Dr. Tej Roka

Co-chairman

Dr. Tej Rokka was born on March 8, 2028 BS in Sarlahi District, Bardibas Municipality-3. He has been working among the children and their rights for a long time. Dr. Roka has a big heart and serves the children of the community as much as he can.he has been elected as Co-chairman from the 13th General Assembly of Freedom for All Nepal-FAN,20 july 2023.

Dr.Sudip Khadka

Mr. Sudip Khadka has been advocating for children's sector, rural development and economic, social, cultural and minority rights for a long time. He has been protecting the children through a non-governmental organization called Dhawa Nepal. Dawa Nepal also highly believes that all rights should be accessible to every common citizen. Even though, Mr. Khadka has been elected as vice president from the 12th General Assembly of Freedom for All Nepal-FAN,23 oct 2022.

Khagendra Oli

Mr. Khagendra Oli has been actively working in the field of human rights and social justice for the past 17 years. With the understanding that the protection of human rights is the mandatory responsibility of citizens, he thinks that volunteering of the youth is necessary in the protection of human rights.Mr. Khagendra Oli, who is working with the same philosophy, has been volunteering continuously as the executive head of Freedom for All Nepal for the past 6 years. Mr. Oli has been elected as the vice president from the 13th General Assembly of Freedom for All Nepal,20 july 2023.

Dhanraj Ghimire has been actively working in the field of children and human rights for a long time. Ghimire, who has been making great contributions to the Nepalese society for the cause of peace and social justice, has been elected as General Secretary from the 13th General Assembly of Freedom for All Nepal-FAN 20 july 2023.

Mr. Purna Rasaili is a committed human rights activist. . Rasaili, who has been active in the field of human rights for some time, has been working for rural development and voicelessness. He has been in the role of treasurer since the 12th general assembly of FAN,23 oct 2022.

Dr. Jomesh Wod has been elected as the secretary from the tenth general assembly. He has been actively participating in construction of a peaceful and cultured society by establishing human rights, values and constitutional rights.

Our movement

FAN, in partnership with various sectors and bodies of government carries out social movement for the promotion of human rights, social justice, and good governance. We also promote the use of socio-political and economic rights through various public awareness programs, journalism, human rights education and communication technology.
